October 26, 2009 — The Chicago Bulls announced today the team has picked up the options for the 2010-11 season for guard Derrick Rose and forward/center Joakim Noah. By exercising the respective player options, both players will be under contract with the Bulls for the 2010-11 season.

Rose appeared in 81 games (80 starts) last year en route to being selected the 2008-09 T-Mobile NBA Rookie of the Year. On the season, he averaged 16.8 ppg, a team-high 6.3 apg and 3.9 rpg in 37.0 mpg. The Chicago native shot .475 from the field and .788 from the free throw line. He finished the 2008-09 campaign in the top three in several categories all-time among Bulls rookies, including total points (third with 1,361), scoring average (third) and assists (third with 512). Rose was the first selection in NBA Draft 2008.

In two seasons with Chicago, Noah (6-11, 232) has appeared in 154 games (86 starts) and averaged 6.7 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.2 apg and 1.13 bpg in 22.5 mpg; he has shot .520 from the field and .684 from the line. The Bulls selected Noah in the first round (ninth overall) in NBA Draft 2007.

Bulls finish Preseason 6-2(The 3rd best record in the league behind ORL AND LAL) I know it`s preseason!!!

Chris Richard release by the Bulls

The Bulls reduced their roster 14 on Thursday by waiving 6-9 forward Chris Richard.
Richard, a teammate of center Joakim Noah at Florida, played in six games this preseason and averaged 3.5 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19.7 minutes.
The loss of Richard means the Bulls will have no more than 12 healthy players at the start of the season because of injuries to Aaron Gray (lower leg stress fracture) and Jerome James (recovering from Achilles surgery).
That number could be reduced to 11 if guard Derrick Byars doesn't make it to the opening-day roster.

Bulls Fans!!! I`m Back For Good and to my Veiwers and People who love my site here`s the Bulls Update

Quick Update of the Chicago Bulls since(my time i miss posting since oct5)

-One More Preseason Game at home vs the Wizards until the Season Kicks off

-The Bulls have a 5-2 record this preseason(I know it`s Preseason but the Bulls have played solid thus far this year showing Chemistry and the Bulls Rookies are fitting in well with the veterans.

-Of Coarse have to talk about(My mentor/idol)Joakim Noah he`s really look good this preseason he`s always had the size being a 7footer but putting on 10 pounds of muscle has help him(Besides the Orlando Game last night which he was solid in,but struggle trying to guard Dwight Howard which isn`t a surprise name me any others that could do it theres only a few) But Joakim has been able to be more consistense and he even had a game with 20pts 16rebs and 3blks So look out for Joakim he`s also putting work in on his jumper still trying to get consistense in that area but If he can add that then thats a added skill which we(as Bulls Fans will be happy) Joakim seems to be following his success from the playoffs so Watch Out for him.

-Derrick Rose played the first preseason game and struggle 1st half but then in the 2nd half he had the takeover like the Moneyplayers do it(or should I say Clutch Players who love the moment and spotlight) (I know again it`s preseason but still great sign to see from our Young Franchise Player) But, since then Derrick has miss all the other six games with a ankle tendon injury(if im correct) But I wouldn`t be to scared right at this moment cause with him having rest could be a benefit; Also theres a downside with one more preseason game you would want Rose to play and gain that feeling of each guy on the court and learn their strengths and also for him he still has some more growth that needs to take place on court. But I expect when the Rookie of the Year winner from last year hits the floor he will be ready to grow in to that role to carry this team like in the playoffs.

-Luol Deng what can I say happy to see Luol Back but this is preseason he `s looked solid and has had struggles some nights but Luol has mostly been good; My only Question is:Will we see the Young Luol that was a leader that carry this team on his back before the 66 million came his way(not saying that Luol is motivate by money(I know he isn`t he loves this game)) or Will Luol be the Player who receives the 66million and never lives up to promise because injurys. We shall see But "Luol I pulling for you Buddy"

-Salmons miss some time due to his wife having their second child(which is understandable) he`s struggle but has had solid nights too. Hinrich we know what you get from him he`s the steady constant he`s solid. The Rookies Taj and JJ have been great thus far both aren`t afraid of the big moment they seem to grow each game and watch out for Taj I think he will get strong consideration for that Bulls Starting Power Forward Spot.(So lookout for that, should be inticing with that scenario and how it plays out). Pargo you know what you get Mr. instant Offense he`s been good; Pargo has hit some big shots but he has also been a chucker, just shooting the ball at will and having at times poor shot selection; But still Pargo has been solid for us. Miller we know what we get from him craft vet who plays the game at his own tempo. Tyrus Thomas has dealt with injuries this preseason but his best game was when he came back against Minnesota he finish with 22pts 13rebs and he was incredible; But Bulls fans we also know Tyrus gets wild on the court to, but thus far he hasn`t been to bad he`s proven that he can be a X factor question is: Will Tyrus ever be consistense? Lastly, our Free Agents in Byars and Richards have been great camp for those guys you are honestly hoping these guys make it on the team but the chances and odds are not in their favor; But time shall tell what happens with rotations, minutes, moves, and coaching ideas.

Till Next Time My Friends Take Care

Bulls Trip to London Update(Also Congrats to John Salmons)Read the story and find out the great news!!!!

Rose sits out practice; Salmons back in Chicago

K.C. Johnson
LONDON -- Derrick Rose celebrated his 21st birthday Sunday, but he also sat out Bulls practice after hurting his right ankle and Achilles in Friday's game in Indiana. Rose said he isn't sure whether he'd play Tuesday against Utah at this city's O2 Arena.
"The pain is back on my heel," Rose said. "I can't even run on it. I can walk on it, but I can't run. I really want to play so I'm just going to get treatment and hope for the best."
The Bulls also are without John Salmons, who is back in the U.S. because his wife is close to giving birth to their second child.
The Bulls have finished their 90-minute practice, which was basically a glorified shootaround or walkthrough.

Bulls 1st Preseason Game Win104-95 vs@ Pacers

Gibson leads Bulls to 104-95 win over Pacers
By CLIFF BRUNT, AP Sports Writer
Posted Oct 2 2009 9:55PM

INDIANAPOLIS(AP) Rookie Taj Gibson had 19 points and nine rebounds to help the Chicago Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers 104-95 on Friday night in the second preseason game for the NBA's replacement officials.
It was an uneventful night for officials Kevin Scott, Karl Lane and William Mensah, though Pacers fans briefly booed them for reviewing whether the Bulls had committed a shot-clock violation with 3.7 seconds left and the game already decided. The Bulls were called for the violation.
The league has hired replacements during its lockout with the referees union, and so far, there hasn't been much trouble. Indiana was called for 28 fouls to Chicago's 21. The only technical foul was a 3-second call against the Pacers. The game was run smoothly and lasted just 2 hours, 20 minutes.
The officials didn't draw attention from Gibson's performance. Chicago coach Vinny Del Negro liked what he saw from the first-round pick out of Southern California.
"Taj is like the Energizer Bunny, just keeps on coming at ya,'' Del Negro said. "He shoots it better than you think, he's picking and popping, he's long. Just a great effort for a first game for a rookie. It's a good sign for him.''
Gibson, the Pac-10 defensive player of the year last season, said he wants to prove that he's a solid all-around player with a team mentality.
"I'm just an athletic, extremely high-energy guy,'' Gibson said. "If I have to go out and get a couple rebounds, take a charge, I'm willing to do anything to help the team win. That's my whole mind-frame right now.''
Rose added 17 points, and Luol Deng and John Salmons had 15 each for the Bulls. Chicago's Tyrus Thomas left the game in the third quarter because of a concussion.
Danny Granger led the Pacers with 27 points in 26 minutes. Luther Head scored 14 points, Brandon Rush scored all 13 of his points in the second half and Solomon Jones added 11 for Indiana.
Head said the Pacers are trying to find a rhythm with so many injuries and new players.
"There's definitely a lot of work to do,'' he said. "The first half, we played some pretty good defense, and I think that will carry over for us.''
Indiana guard Mike Dunleavy sat out because he's still recovering from surgery performed on his right knee in March. Pacers forward Troy Murphy rested a sprained left ankle, and rookie forward Tyler Hansbrough sat out with a sore right shin.
Indiana held Chicago to 28 percent shooting in the first half, but the Bulls made 19 free throws to stay close. Granger scored 15 points to help Indiana take a 43-41 lead at the break.
Chicago outscored Indiana 34-19 in the third quarter to take a 75-62 lead into the final period.
"I thought we needed to pick up our energy a little bit and we did,'' Del Negro said. "We moved the ball a little bit better, our assists were much better in the second half. I just thought our energy picked up a little bit.''
Indiana quickly rallied, and a powerful right handed dunk by Josh McRoberts cut Chicago's lead to two at 80-78.
Chicago quickly regained control. Lindsey Hunter banked in a 2-pointer from the top of the key as the shot clock expired to put the Bulls up 100-87.
NOTES: Indiana C Jeff Foster wore a mask because he took a shot in the nose from McRoberts in a recent practice. ... Chicago rookie James Johnson fouled out in 18 minutes.

Also I would like to add that Noah was the leading rebounder with 10 rebounds he was very active and he had a very solid game even he show a nice move and he also try to keep the D more honest and shooting once or twice. Which his form still isn`t nothing note worthy, but I think he will make that jump in the category of the leagues top Centers;(I`m not just saying this because that`s my idol/mentor; I believe Joakim will improve and get better, i know Jo will never be that go to scorer in the post but guys like Noah win you titles. So I think as this team steps up this year and improves so will their future chances of holding up titles go up; And the Real Joakim Noah will be reveil as a guy who is a winner.)

Next Up:Oct 6 game in London at the O2 Arena(Jazz vs Bulls)2:30 ET Being Shown on NBATV

Well Chicago I know we didn`t get the bid I feel your pain I love my beloved city of Chicago. (But also a Congrats to Rio)

Eventhought I love my beloved city of Chicago and I wanted so bad; I can understand why they would want to go to Rio.(Well hopefully I won`t get a fine for this; But We all know their is beautiful women everywhere including our Beloved Country the USA, But It`s nothining like south american women especially those Brazilian Ladies)Am I Right Or Not???? Don`t answer that we all know the answer is Yes!

But I know we didn`t get the opportunity to bring the 2016 Summer Olympics to Chicago(and I know how disappointed we all were that we went out first) But Chicago is a great and amazing city(I also realize theres some issues going on but I pray that the issues can work theirselves out and we can stop all Gang Violence and unity as a people) Anyway, I didn`t mean to get off topic but People around the World need to hear this, that Chicago is a beautiful place, a place where you can become somebody, a place that embraces it`s heros and love`s and care for it`s hardworkers.

So Chicago don`t put your head down we win in the long run; Chicago is now being known around the world we are going to be able to draw a buzz oversees that Chicago has never had before.(even when we had mike and our bulls was taking the world by storm) So now when the world talks about major cities and major influences It`s not only going to be talk of New York,LA include the new New York of the midwest Chicago in that conversation now.

Also I want to sent out a Thank You To Our President Barack Obama and to the First lady Obama; also a special thanks to Oprah Winfrey and others who campaign for the city that i loved and country that i was born in and truly love.

So I know we are all down but just remember losses happen, it matters if you are willing to stand up and use diffult times as motivations to propel you to become even greater then you already are.

I know that some stuff might not make since but i`m righting off emotion

(So President Obama hope you are able to take a look at my great website,P.S nothing But Bulls info on this site and NBA news and etc. But Mostly Bulls)
